Art Journal Work In Progress

I have been playing with paints, markers, colored pencils etc.  The journal has been a brave step for me.

I am trying to lose my fear of failure.  So I am making backgrounds and trying different mediums.  My new fave is the Golden Glaze paings.  I bought the Aquamarine (my favorite color) and just love it so I have ordered 7 more colors.  Here are a couple of pages.

A Peek Into My Studio

I am lucky to have a space to call my own.  I claimed the bonus room over the garage as my place for all things crafty.  I think I have learned that adding more storage containers only leads to more stuff.  I have been trying to de-stash some things I think I will never use...yeah right.  Hence, the etsy supply store.

I know this room looks more like a "collector" room but I assure you I do actually make things.
