Enjoyed The Lorax movie with my grandson Edlen.  We came home and got out the bubbles and the chalk as it was a really lovely day.  Then grandpa ordered pizza.  After that I returned him to his mom and dad who missed having him around.

Current Project I Am Working On

I am working on a  project about dolls I have owned and dolls I wish owned.  When I was little I loved my dolls.  I still have most of them and the doll furniture that was made especially for me as a child by a friend.  I think I love them as much now as them.  I still have several dolls to photograph to add to this project.  It started out in a small 45 rpm record holder but does now not fit into said book.  When I finish the inside I will figure out the outside.

Happy Anniversary Celebrating 35 Years

                                         35 Year Anniversary and John's Birthday March 4th.

Our friends Carol and Steve Williamson invited us and a few other friends for a fun night out at the CC.  We had a wonderful dinner and a show of the Rat Pack Returns.  Lots of songs I remember from my early days.  Carol surprised us with a special birthday/anniversary cake.  Definitely did not stay on my diet that weekend.  Oh, well!

Home for the Holidays 2011

We started off by picking them up at the airport in a Limo.  Lots of fun, lots of food and lots of memories.

Having the whole family home for the holidays was the best present I could ever have.  Both my sons and their families were here and we spent every minute we could being together.
Two grandaughters from the West Coast and two grandsons from the East Coast.  They really bonded quickly and had a great time together. 

Christmas Angel

This was a really fun project.  I took an e-class with Christy Tomlinson and this was one of our projects.  Her shop  is www.scarletlime.com  She has a way of making you feel relaxed and she is fun to listen to.

Holiday Favorite

Time to make Aunt Emma's fruitcake receipe.  A family favorite.  This year I added some pecans.  It is fun to give them to special friends and family.  I treasure this old old receipe.  Next up is another family favorite cookie "no names".  We have always called them that because we don't know the name.  I have made these since the boys were young.  This year I hope to have my granddaughters helping me make them.

Bringing Home The Tree

We always vow to not get a tree too large and we always get a tree too large.  This is my favorite kind of tree, Frazier Fur.  With lots of room for ornaments and cats to explore.  Lizzie seems to be spending the most time around the tree.
