Getting Ready for Easter

I had a great time with my grandsons making favors for the Easter table and decorating an "Easter Tree" for the centerpiece.  They had a hard time resisting the candy.  And the resistance soon fell prey to the love of chocolate.

I created this piece as a gift for a dear friend.  It is one of my favorite pieces and at some point I would like to make one for myself.  My dear friend is in the hospital at the moment and please say a prayer for her as she has been really ill.  She is having surgery today and we hope moving forward this will lead down the path to recovery.

I think today I will work on a similar piece and think of her.  She is a dear sweet person and has no time or the patience to be ill.  She is a mover and a doer.  You just can't keep a good woman down.
